Supplemental websites that I have used in my classroom include:
Study Jams is a website created by Scholastic that provides viewers with videos relating to academic content, specifically math and science. These videos are kid-friendly and are around 5 minutes long.
TenMarks is a website that teachers can subscribe to allowing progress monitoring and differentiation in mathematics. Students work on Common Core Standard based problems independently on any device, and are given instant feedback and guidance toward mastery of the skill.

Flocabulary is a site that teachers need to subscribe to, however, it is worth it! My students love the songs that relate to content areas. These songs keep the students engaged while they preview or learn about content area information.
Myon.com is a website that allows students to read and listen to books online. My school does have a subscription, however, it is well worth the money! Students are able to choose books at their instructional level and that spark their interest as a reader.

Some educational apps that I have used or allow my students to use in the classroom include:
Seesaw can be used by teachers and students. Teachers create a "classroom" which allows students to be added and from there students can add work to the "classroom" page. This is wonderful in regard to students "showing what they know" and for sharing student work with parents.

ReadRecord is a free app that teachers can use in order to help them assess reading assessments (Fountas & Pinnell assessments or reading records). This app allows teachers to record the students as they read, generates the level of comprehension with a simple push of a button, and provides the teacher with their word count per minute.
